At Makyn.me, we believe that fees should be clear & easy to understand! Our Shop Plans solve a major pain-point voiced by Creatives selling their work online! We hear your plight & intentionally designed our Shops & the associated fees to be simple by nature! As a result, we have done our ABSOLUTE BEST to shield Artists & Creatives from as many fees as possible!

Makyn.me’s practice of NOT CHARING UNNECESSARY FEES builds trust & helps Makyn.me Shops to MAXIMIZE PROFIT! Our mission is to uplift underprivileged Creatives & address the problem of the Starving Artist at its source!

Other marketplaces have complicated fee schedules & charge excessive fees that tend to negatively impact Artists & Crafters! It’s difficult to determine pricing when it’s hard to comprehend what you’ll be charged. Listing fees deter creativity by penalizing for each listing! Each fee slowly eats away at the profit of the Shop, making it more difficult for the Creative behind the work to earn a living wage! It also has from creating raising the price of goods for consumers!

WE CHARGE NO FEES to participate in our Enhanced Shopping Program, where we share your work to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google, and Pinterest for FREE! Shops may also accept tips in the checkout process!

EASY FEE SCHEDULE

SALES FEE

Our Sales fee ONLY APPLIES to the Free Shop Plan! Free Shops pay a nominal sales fee of 5%, only when listings sell in our Marketplace! This small fee helps to cover the Community’s operational costs for allowing participation of Shops with no upfront cost!

TRANSACTION FEE

All transactions are subject to Stripe’s direct Transaction Fee of 2.99% + $0.30 per sale!

The Transaction fee is separate from the Sales fee.

HELPFUL TOOL

Our Calculator is an excellent tool that we provide for FREE to help Shops set prices for their work that are reflective of the materials, cost of labor, and assists with determining retail markup. Another area of our Calculator is designed to provide a method for Shops to calculate profits painlessly, taking into account the Shop type & any associated fees. This practical & useful tool is just one feature of the excellent Shop Services that we provide!

In keeping with our practice of fee transparency, these tools help Shop Owners figure out how much profit to expect based on the suggested retail price.

FREE TRIAL

Independent Shops may establish a trial of our Shop Services with Stripe for FREE! HOWEVER, PayPal charges a nominal fee of $1.00 to initialize trial subscriptions. When the 30-day duration of the trial period is over, your account will be charged at the Plan rate you select at the time of signup. Change Membership.
