Make Fabric from Serger Scraps

This tutorial explains how to "doodle" with your machine using the free motion foot, similar to the way that you draw with ink from a pen using your needle and thread creating an interesting design to hold down the edges of the scraps of fabric!

Hey Art Friends!

Welcome back to the Mandakyns Channel!

Today’s episode is about how to create NEW Fabric from Serger Scraps with a sewable iron-on fusible interfacing using the free motion sewing foot! Be sure to check out last weeks video on how to change the general purpose foot to the free motion foot!

I don’t like to throw things away and love to repurpose things or reuse them in innovative ways! I thought I would share this great idea to use up your stash of serger scraps!

Don’t forget your darning plate if you can’t lower your feed dogs. Note: Your machine may also require the stitch length to be set to “0,” please see your sewing machine’s manual if you have a different machine.
